Straight out of the box I already knew the coloring was so much more than what I saw online. (My laptop made it look more mushroomy brown, but in person she's a very natural light brown, and the highlights are neither brassy nor ashy.)
What makes this wig the absolute BOMB though is the hairline. Straight out of the box and put on before I even finger combed her...I had to see the hairline. Nothing to see. Not even one knot! Just pretty hair that looks like it's sprouting right out of my own scalp! (for real, not "kinda"). I've never had a wig that did not have ear tabs, but I'm just going to be honest and say that aside from having something solid to grab onto to position my wigs, I hate ear tabs. They never hit where they should and are often the reason why I never feel like my wigs are "fully on". I haven't even cut the lace on this unit yet, but I can see the way the temples are sitting that I'm just going to trim the lace about 1/4" from the hair line and glue it down right in front of my ear. Without anything holding it down, it already lays beautifully over my own bit of bio hair there. My point is that you won't be sacrificing anything by buying a wig without ear tabs. The lace is so invisible that you don't need to trim it ultra close to the hair in order to "hide" it. I also love the additional (and removeable) elastic strap inside the cap. It's soft, and does a great job keeping the wig secure.
As a first-time buyer from Nel's Wigs- I'm more than impressed. I'm a convert. I'll never buy another wig from anywhere else. The price might seem "Discount" but the quality is So SO SOOO much more than what you get from other places that sell wigs for these prices. THANK YOU NEL'S WIGS!!

This purchase was my 4th Carol....she's just that good. I have her in all colors except the silver colored one-only because that one is completely sold out. (Please restock that one). Cap construction is fantastic and their customer service is top-notch. I highly recommend!

I love their wigs. Very affordable and look as they do on the website. Also the clips that come with and velcro on! I wish they had human hair!

I have Purchased this original OG Shauna over 4 times since she was first released years ago. Her hairline is impeccable, the lighter shade of roots seamlessly flow into the beautiful shade of light blonde. She is long, but not thick and very manageable. I always Have people stop me and ask where I get My hair done because they love the color and always say it’s a hard color to maintain and have such healthy hair at the same time lol

I love Tanya coloring and I love Shawna Beach wave. The combination of the two is beautiful. She’s one of my favorite.

I went back and fourth with this girl for a while. I’m so glad I took the leap ! I have been trying to find the “perfect” piece for months. I have tried all the brands. THIS IS IT ! I simply used a little heat at the bangs for a little lift and she’s absolute perfection ! I not only feel like a million dollars but it’s always nice when everyone says wow you look great ! I was a little nervous about pink but the tones in this are just subtle enough. I can not say enough positive about this piece. Shauna is absolutely stunning! I recently started having sime significant hair loss. I was devastated to lose so much hair all at once…but I am so very happy with this wig! It looks so natural and the color is beautiful! Since im new with wigs, i had them cut the lace for me and incouldnt be happier with the results! So glad I found Nels Wigs! Oh…and soooooo affordable as well.
